These are my entries for the upcoming miniature show at Jack's Fine Art and Framing Gallery in Beaumont, Ca. Sarah Parker will do the judging. The reception will be Dec. 8 from 5 to 8 pm. I hope you can make the reception. Door prizes, snacks and wine. Who could ask for anything more.
When I got the prospectus for this event, I was fearful to try an oil painting this small. I bought a package of 5 - 3 x 3 inch canvas. I looked at them constantly and just could not imagine being able to paint anything that small. Jennifer Dunaway the owner of Jack's called to tell me I needed to give it a try. When out on location at Palm Canyon recently with my artist pal Patricia Rose Ford, I indeed gave it a try. It was actually fun. Working with my palette knife I did the following in my studio. I think I am hooked, these little gems are falling off the knife and looking pretty good. I will be donating a 3 x 3 as a door prize, so come on out to the reception and take your chance of winning an original 3 x 3 by me!

Also in the show will be "Fancy" lost wax bronze 1 1/2 inch in height. Available to purchase through Jack's.
